Association of Southeast Asian Nations
The "Association of Southeast Asian Nations" (hereinafter referred to as "ASEAN") was founded during the Vietnam War. In 2015, the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) was established, which was formally integrated into the world’s third largest market whose population is larger than the North American Free Trade Area and the European Union, second only to China and India.
AEC has an abundant and relatively young labor force and rich natural resources. In addition, AEC provides many preferential conditions for foreign investment, and its active participation into regional economic integration, forming a magnetic attraction. In the past 20 years, it has also carried out economic integration with various countries and established extensive trade cooperation relations.
