Apex (4927) successfully held the Annual General Meeting today (30th), attended by Chairman Shu-Mu Wang, CEO Jui-Hsiang Chou and the management team. The meeting was chaired by Chairman Shu-Mu Wang and all the proposed resolutions were duly approved. The meeting was also broadcast live in full via YouTube, enabling all shareholders to participate.

CEO Jui-Hsiang Chou stated that in 2023, geopolitical tensions and a high interest rate environment driven by inflation slowed the pace of global economic recovery, with a more pronounced impact on demand in the consumer electronics market. In response to these multiple challenges, Apex remained committed to diligence and professionalism, upholding a people-focused management philosophy while continuously strengthening both the depth and breadth of its management capabilities. Leveraging over 23 years of operational experience in Thailand, Apex is confident in capturing order opportunities in Southeast Asia and realizing the benefits of its new facilities, new products, and new manufacturing processes, thereby returning to a growth path and sustaining long-term corporate development.

In terms of sustainability, Apex launched the “GREEN Project” in 2021 to enhance renewable energy utilization and water resource management to increase the share of renewable energy to meet future factory water and electricity demand. As of 2023, the installed capacity of the solar power systems reached 5.1 MW, with annual carbon reduction exceeding 3,700 tonnes. Besides, Apex ranked among the top 5% for the first time in the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporate Governance Evaluation in 2023, becoming the only listed PCB Company to achieve this distinction. Apex also received a B rating in the CDP Water Security Questionnaire, and was rated as Low Risk by Morningstar Sustainalytics ESG assessment, and was once again honored with the AREA award by Enterprise Asia.

Looking ahead, Apex will accelerate new product certification, continuously adopt new technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities, maintain strict cost control, and further strengthen its sustainability strategy.
