The Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation held the 12th Corporate Governance Evaluation award ceremony today (26th). Apex was ranked within 6% to 20% among listed companies, and has also been ranked in the top 5% for three consecutive years within the electronics category of companies with a market capitalization between NT$5 billion and NT$10 billion, demonstrating our efforts in strengthening corporate governance
Apex performed well in all four evaluation dimensions. In terms of “safeguarding shareholder rights and strengthening the structure and operation of the board of directors," Apex includes a female director in the Board of Directors and has established a Sustainability and Nomination Committee composed of at least half independent directors, with an independent director serving as the convener and chairperson, thereby strengthening the independence of sustainability governance. To enhance information transparency, Apex provides a full recording of the 2025 Annual General Meeting on its official website and has completed the disclosure of its annual report before the statutory deadline. Since 2016, we have voluntarily prepared annual Sustainability Reports, with the 2024 Sustainability Report approved by the Board of Directors, ensuring investors have access to information promptly and enhancing disclosure transparency.
In terms of sustainable development, Apex has been actively developing green energy. In 2021, we launched the "Apex Green Project" to enhance our renewable energy and water resource management. In 2024, the carbon reduction achieved by the solar power systems and energy-saving projects, as verified by SGS, exceeded 4,800 tonnes. In addition, we are actively engaged in social welfare initiatives and maintain close interaction with local communities and schools. We also organized activities such as charity fairs, Songkran celebrations, and employee recognition programs to foster a positive and supportive workplace.
Vice President Sam Wu stated, “Over the past two years, amid significant changes in the electronics industry and as Apex undergoes a critical stage of product transformation, maintaining such performance in the 2025 Corporate Governance Evaluation has been no easy feat”. This result not only reflects external recognition of Apex's continuous efforts in corporate governance, but also echoes its achievements in domestic and international sustainability evaluations in recent years. Apex has received the TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Report Silver Award for two consecutive years and has been honored multiple times with the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) presented by Enterprise Asia. In the future, Apex will continue to strengthen the corporate governance framework, advance product transformation and optimize its operational structure, moving steadily toward our goal of sustainable business development.
