【Apex ESG】The Company attaches great importance to employee welfare and holds Songkran Day activities for employees to celebrate the Thai New Year

The Songkran Festival, also known as the Water Festival, is the traditional Thai New Year's holiday and is celebrated from April 13th to April 15th. To improve employee benefits, the Company has held the "Apex Songkran Day" celebration from April 6 to April 8 for employees as usual. This year, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic prevention measures, Apex changed the celebration way by the festival decoration around the factory to set off the atmosphere, and built the traditional “Sand Pagoda” of the Thai New Year custom to pray for employees and their families. The practice of giving out holiday bonuses in previous years was also maintained to thank all employees for their hard work last year and to give and boost morale to welcome the new year together with our employees.

The Company has been deeply developed in Thailand for more than 20 years. 99% of the factory employees are Thai employees. Therefore, Songkran Day celebrations are held regularly in combination with Thai traditional culture every year to create a happy working environment for employees and build a sense of belonging, enable employees to feel the management team's warm and attentive mind on employee benefits. Although the scale of 2022 Apex Songkran Day is not as grand as last year due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, various New Year decoration still create a strong sense of festive rituals. Besides, in order to thank employees for their additional cooperation during Songkran last year, and to make the employees have a happy New Year Holiday this year, the management team also distributed holiday bonuses according to the seniority of each employee to express their gratitude to the employees for their hard work throughout the year. In the meantime, the New Year's greetings from management team have been delivered via online videos, which last the joyful festive atmosphere in the Internet.
