The Company has launched the “Apex Aqua Project” in the first quarter. Apex will build a new waste water treatment and water recycling system to increase the waste water recycling ratio. The total capital expenditure of this project is estimated to be about THB 1.48 billion. It is expected to be completed in four phases within three years. Apex hopes to reduce the consumption of tap water with practical action by optimizing the water resources risk management mechanism and further strengthen the strategy and goal of ESG sustainable development.

Facing the changes in the ecology of earth caused by global climate change, the importance of water resources management to enterprises is self-evident. As the largest Taiwanese printed circuit board factory in Thailand, with the development of business and the expansion of new capacity, the demand for water in the factory is also increasing. In order to reduce water consumption, the company set up a team for water resource management to work with suppliers to discuss from three aspects: physical treatment, chemical treatment and biological treatment. It is planned to divert factory wastewater with the wastewater treatment technology to maximize the use of water resources. The total project area of the preliminary plan is about 13,000 square meters. The first phase of construction has been completed. It is expected that after the completion of the project, it will be able to reduce the consumption of tap water in the factory and increase the proportion of wastewater recycling.

While strengthening water resources management, Apex also continues to pay attention to energy conservation issues. In addition to launching the “Apex Solar Project” to build a renewable energy power generation system in the fourth quarter of 2021, Apex has recently invited local energy conservation-related consulting companies in Thailand to discuss the issues on the preparation of feasible energy-saving solutions to develop a green energy-saving blueprint with the management team. The company will strive to be friendly to the environment while expanding its business and creating profits. By promoting water recycling and green energy, Apex will further develop ESG sustainable management plans and continue to advance towards the goal of resource sustainability.
