Apex (4927) has recently achieved the ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System certification issued by the British Standards Institution (BSI). A certification ceremony was held yesterday (27th), and CEO, Mr. Chou Jui-Hsiang received the certificate from the Director of BSI. This certification recognizes Apex's efforts to enhance information security protection and align with international standards.

ISO/IEC 27001 is a widely used international Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) standard. It aims to assist organizations in establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the information security management systems, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, and strengthening the ability to prevent data leaks.

Apex has long been committed to strengthening information security management mechanisms and defensive capabilities to protect critical information assets and ensure the smooth operation of information systems. We also established the Information Security Committee in 2022. Through monthly routine meetings held by the Security Operations Center, we follow the management cycle of Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA) to review the applicability of information security policies and protective measures and regularly report the implementation effectiveness to the Information Security Committee. Besides, we also enhance the information security awareness of all employees through promotional videos. With close collaboration among colleagues in various departments, we have comprehensively strengthened the foundational defense capabilities of our information security.

Implementing information security management is an indispensable part of corporate sustainability and a key indicator of risk management and corporate governance. To meet the ever-changing information security needs, Apex voluntarily adheres to the ISO/IEC 27001 information security management framework and obtains certification, demonstrating our determination to provide the highest level of protection to our customers and partners. In the future, we will continue to strengthen information security management to protect Apex's and customers' information assets, thereby achieving the goal of corporate sustainability.
