Today (13th), Mr. Chang Chun-Fu, representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, led the Economic Division to visit Apex. Chairman Wang Shu-Mu and CEO Chou Jui-Hsiang led the management team to share the business philosophy and overview of Apex. They also engaged in discussions on the trends in the electronics industry.
Apex was founded in 2001 in Samut Sakhon Province, Thailand. With a people-oriented management philosophy and a combination of Eastern cultural values and Western scientific management principles, Apex is dedicated to lean factory management and improving employees’ life. With the gradual growth in customer demand, Apex now operates four factories in Samut Sakhon Province, Thailand, with a maximum monthly production capacity of approximately 1 million square meters and a workforce of 9,000 employees, making it the largest Taiwanese printed circuit board supplier in Thailand.
In addition to the continuous expansion of our core business, Apex also focuses on corporate sustainability. Since 2021, we have launched the "GREEN Project" to enhance Apex's management of renewable energy and water resources. Among them, the "Solar Project" has already reached a total installed capacity of 8.3MW. With the advantage of Thailand’s annual average sunshine of about 200 days, it is estimated that the annual carbon reduction could exceed 6,000 tons. The "Aqua Project" starts with three aspects of physical, chemical, and biochemical treatments to build the wastewater system. By diverting factory wastewater and utilizing wastewater treatment technologies, we have achieved a wastewater recycling rate of approximately 30%. We expect to achieve a 40% wastewater recycling rate in the first phase.
Since the initiation of the New Southbound Policy in 2016, the government has focused on four key pillars - "economic and trade cooperation," "talent exchange," "resource sharing," and "regional connections." - it aims to forge a mutually beneficial, win-win model of cooperation with ASEAN and South Asian countries as well as Australia and New Zealand. Apex has deeply developed in Thailand for many years, dedicated to achieving win-win situations for shareholders, local Thai employees, suppliers, and customers. The promotion of the New Southbound Policy aligns Apex's strategies with government directions and international trends. Under the new economic trends, through government integration to explore the Southeast Asian supply chain, Apex will work with the country, Taiwanese companies, and local governments to embrace a future of mutual benefit for all parties.

The Chinese name of Apex was named when Apex IPO listed in Taiwan with two Chinese words. The two Chinese words, one tells the public that we were based in Thailand; another implies the stability of Apex and also tells the public about the solid foundation of Apex in Thailand's PCB industry.
