The 2024 TCSA Corporate Sustainability Awards Ceremony was held today (11th). Apex won the Award in the Corporate Sustainability Reports category for the third time and won the Silver Award for the first time. This achievement highlights the enhanced completeness, credibility, and quality of Apex’s ESG report.

Since 2016, Apex has voluntarily prepared ESG reports in both Chinese and English. The 2023 ESG Report is prepared with reference to the latest Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) framework, and the reporting principles outlined by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). Besides, the ESG report obtained an Independent Assurance Statement from AFNOR, based on the AA1000 Assurance Standard, further improving the quality and credibility of our sustainability information.

In terms of corporate governance, Apex obtained the ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System certification issued by BSI in 2023. In 2024, Apex passed a greenhouse gas inventory verification conducted by SGS (Thailand) Ltd., in accordance with the ISO 14064-1:2018 standard. Apex is also committed to enhancing information transparency. The annual ESG reports are publicly available in the ESG section on Apex's official website, making it easy for domestic and international stakeholders to review the latest sustainability news and the content of previous ESG reports.

In terms of the environment, the use of renewable energy of Apex has already exceeded 2% in 2023. To achieve our corporate sustainability goals, we launched the Apex GREEN Project at the end of 2021, which will bring benefits in carbon reduction and wastewater recycling. The completed solar power systems are expected to reduce annual carbon emissions by over 6,000 tons, with renewable energy substitution rates approaching 4%. In terms of social prosperity, Apex spent approximately THB 990,000 in 2023 on social participation, including scholarship programs to support education, tree-planting projects to promote environmental sustainability, and blood donation campaigns engaging employees. These efforts present our dedication to pursuing the common good in society.

In the future, Apex will continue to enhance the quality of information disclosure through ongoing strategic planning in the three dimensions of ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) to fulfill corporate social responsibility, advancing hand in hand with stakeholders on the path to corporate sustainability.
