The Songkran Festival - also known as the Water Festival, is an important New Year celebration in Thailand. This year, Apex decorated the factory and organized a series of Songkran festive activities to celebrate the local festival, which included traditional blessings with water sprinkling, water splashing, a charity fair, live performances, and a beauty pageant. Accompanied by fluttering colorful flags, Thai salad, and a sand pagoda surrounded by a sand dragon symbolizing the Year of the Dragon, our employees happily celebrated the Thai New Year, demonstrating the management team's dedication to creating a joyful workplace environment for employees.

This year, the Apex Songkran Festival is on April 9th and April 10th at the Apex 1 lobby and Apex 2 Phra Phrom Shrine plazas. The event commenced with a monk blessing ceremony, with people extending from the Four-Faced Buddha Square to the factory gates, showcasing the devout and orderly nature of the Thai people. Following this was the bathing of the Buddha ceremony and the water sprinkling ritual, where attendees sequentially purified the Buddha statues with clean water. Then, employees lightly poured scented water on the palms of the management team, symbolizing Apex's care and blessings toward our employees.

Additionally, a fair was set up around the square, with proceeds supporting the "Friends Help Friends" employee assistance project, enabling employees to contribute to factory charity activities while enjoying the festive atmosphere. The highlight of the activity was the beauty pageant in the evening, where participants were not limited by gender or age. The selection process emphasized individual qualities and on-the-spot reactions, supplemented by employee voting to determine the winner. Under the lively music, participants of diverse genders with traditional Thai attire took turns showcasing their charm on the runway, fully embodying Apex's diverse and inclusive DNA.

Apex has been deeply developed in Thailand for more than 20 years, with 99% of our employees being Thai nationals. The management team upholds a people-oriented spirit and is committed to creating a workplace environment that meets employees' needs. In addition to the annual Apex Songkran Festival, we hold charity fairs and periodically arrange for visually impaired individuals to provide massage services to address employees' physical and mental needs. We also established various close communication channels and maintain close contact with society. These long-term measures not only create a happy workplace but also align with the ESG goals of employee well-being and social prosperity.

As the New Year approaches, Songkran celebration activities strengthen employees' sense of belonging and foster closer relationships with Apex. Diverse welfare activities also highlight Apex's care for employees. In the future, Apex will remain true to our principles and uphold the spirit of 'Good to you, Good to Apex,' working with our employees to move towards a sustainable future.
