The Company has reached 100% coverage of the two doses of vaccines, and the updates on relevant fighting pandemic measures and the current status in the plant

Apex’s various fighting pandemic measures continue to progress, and with the parallel arrangement of prevention and isolation policies, the second dose of vaccination has been completed for all Thai employees this week. The Apex Sandbox Project, which was set to launch in mid-October, will be officially opened on 10/19 as expected, and the ground-breaking ceremony for the infrastructure of water and electricity supplies next to the Apex Sandbox Project in the scheduled area for Apex 4 plant has also been held recently, ensuring water and electricity supplies will be sufficient for the expansion of each plants.

After the Company completed the first dose of vaccine for all employees in Thailand on 9/16, the second dose of vaccine has been administered from 10/8 and has been completed on 10/10, achieving 100% coverage of the two doses of vaccines. In addition to all the employees in Apex 1, Apex 2 Apex 3 and Apex-S plaints, the vaccine is also provided to the employees’ family who have not been vaccinated, so that the employees have no worries, reflecting the spirit of “Good to you, Good to Apex; Good to Family, Good to Apex.”

In response to the Thai government’s policy, the Apex Sandbox Project was planned and constructed, the preparatory work will be completed on 10/15 as scheduled, and will be officially launched on 10/19, ensuring and improving the isolation plans in the factory area. By combining technology, solar energy applications and isolation equipment, and the implementation of the core spirit of the "testing, isolation, treatment, and prevention" plan, it is expected to protect the overall operation of the factory and take care of the safety of the employees. The comprehensive planning and implementation of the advance deployment of the plan has been affirmed by the Thai government, and the parties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote the sandbox project. In the future, the Company will continue to share its experience on fighting pandemic and assist the government in implementing relevant plans, and the local government has promised to support and provide resources to fight the pandemic, including (1) free PCR testing in the Company’s factories and ensuring the supply of vaccines for new employees, (2) issuing certificate of Standard Factory/Blue Factory as all employees in Thailand have been fully vaccinated with two doses, and (3) If any employee is infected, the government will support and assist in all aspects.

While continuing to improve the measures against the pandemic, future plans for production capacity are also underway. The recently started construction project on the planned land of the Apex 4 plant is for infrastructure of water and electricity supplies in the group's factory. The two projects are expected to be completed in the second quarter next year. In the future, under the coexistence with the Covid-19, the management team’s various plans have taken the health and safety of employees, factory operations, and the protection of shareholders’ rights and interests into consideration and it is believed that it will bring more benefits to the Thai factory.
